KIT pavilion by atelier k, in Kyoto, Japan.
The confident form reaching to the sky definitely makes a statement. Very simply enforces the elemental need to reach the sky. The cut towards the back of the building does not only create a way to light up the interior, but also helps the structure to stay light, and energetic.
Beautiful. Does anybody else notice the similarity to Libeskind’s Military History Museum in Dresden?
